These Oil Filter Pliers have slip joint handles. Jaw teeth hold 2-1/2-inch to 4-5/8-inch for sure grip. The 20 degree jaw bend means these pliers may be applied for more applications. Cushioned handles offer safety and comfort.

5It Works
By Inspector Nash Bridges
Grabs the filter, turns it, takes it right off. No problems at all. Bites into filter casing real well, and does not slip.

5If you change your own oil and use spin on filters – buy this!
By Dom Miliano
I have been changing my own oil since high school and getting the old oil filter off has always been the most difficult part of what is a pretty simple job. I have tried just about everything including stabbing the case with a screwdriver and twisting – sheesh! I found this tool and have used it with great success for quite a while.

As has been often stated, the simple solution is usually the best. This tool mimics the force of a strong hand and adds leverage. win / win!

Change your own oil? Get one and simplify the filter removal process.

2Not the best product
By S. DiGiulio
I bought this filter wrench hoping for an easy way to remove oil filters. The adjustment slips easily, and the wrench does not easily or tightly grip filters.
